Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments are sterilized and ready for procedures
• Assist the dentist chairside during pediatric exams and treatments, helping kids feel at ease
• Take and develop dental X-rays while following safety protocols
• Educate young patients and their families on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage clinical supplies

Qualifications

• Certified or registered Dental Assistant as required by Wisconsin state regulations
• Prior experience in a dental office, ideally with pediatric patients
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• A warm, patient-friendly attitude and great communication skills

• Chairside assisting techniques
• Infection control and sterilization best practices
• Dental radiography and safety
• Pediatric dentistry workflows
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
