Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate patient monitoring as a sitter, ensuring safety and comfort across a variety of units
• Assist with vital signs and accurately document patient information
• Support patients with feeding, ambulation, and turning/positioning to keep them safe and comfortable
• Perform hourly rounding to proactively meet patient needs
• Collaborate with nursing staff and adapt to floating assignments across the hospital as needed
• Bring a flexible, positive attitude to every shift while delivering quality care

Qualifications

• Active Washington State CNA license (or willingness to obtain before start)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of hospital experience as a CNA
• Valid driver's license required at time of submission
• Ability to float to different units and hospitals within the region
• Comfort with EPIC charting system preferred
• A flexible, positive attitude and willingness to jump in where needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of vital signs measurement and patient care fundamentals
• Experience with feeding, ambulation assistance, and safe turning/positioning techniques
• Knowledge of hourly rounding and patient safety protocols
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Adaptability to thrive in fast-paced, changing environments
