Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement individualized therapy interventions following the occupational therapist's plan of care to help patients regain independence
- Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner to support treatment goals
- Assist with patient and family education so they feel confident continuing care at home
- Communicate patient status clearly with the supervising OT to ensure the best possible outcomes
- Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols to keep patients and coworkers safe
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active state COTA license or the ability to obtain one before starting
- Strong teamwork skills and a patient-centered approach to care
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Occupational therapy interventions and treatment techniques
- Patient care and patient education best practices
- Accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Teamwork and collaboration with OTs and other healthcare professionals
- Compliance with state and federal regulations and facility safety protocols
