Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Day shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $13 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Support safe patient transfers and mobility, following proper body mechanics
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient record
Help create a clean, comfortable, and dignified environment for residents
Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
Follow infection control policies and promote a culture of safety

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
Active placement on the Alabama CNA registry as required by state
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Demonstrated ability to provide patient-centered care with compassion
Reliable, professional, and able to pass required background checks

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and bedside assistance skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Basic knowledge of infection control and safety practices
Comfortable with documentation and following care plans
Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a busy setting
