Location: Silverdale, Washington

End Date: 08-25-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend Fri & Sat, holidays rotate with perm staff, flexibility with scheduling

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide specialized Level II NICU care for low birth weight and premature babies
Attend high and low risk deliveries, stabilizing and transitioning newborns
Deliver postpartum couplet care including well newborns and maternal support
Manage respiratory support like Bubble CPAP, high flow, and vents alongside RT team
Administer TPN, lipids, and tube feeds for feeders and growers
Monitor tele and care for substance abuse affected infants with compassion

Qualifications

Active RN license
2 years of experience preferred, will consider 1 year with prior travel contracts
Competency in Level II NICU and attending deliveries
Postpartum couplet care experience strongly desired

Education

Knowledge & Skills

NRP, STABLE, and BLS certifications
Experience with vents, Bubble CPAP, high flow nasal cannula
Stabilization of high and low risk newborns
Postpartum maternal and newborn care
Familiarity with EPIC charting
