Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement dynamic patient rehabilitation programs to boost mobility, function, and strength
• Evaluate and treat patients with personalized physical therapy plans
• Guide and monitor comprehensive patient care for optimal outcomes
• Supervise PT Assistants and Aides to ensure top-notch treatment
• Communicate effectively with physicians and team members for seamless care
• Maintain precise patient chart documentation and HIPAA compliance
• Collaborate with front office on scheduling and follow-ups

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in California (or eligible to obtain soon)
• Degree in Physical Therapy
• Experience supervising PT Assistants and Aides
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Familiarity with DX and ICD-10 coding plus PT billing procedures

Education

• Degree in Physical Therapy
• Continuing education courses preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient evaluation and treatment expertise
• Computer skills including typing, Word, Internet, and EMR
• HIPAA compliance and patient privacy practices
• PT billing knowledge for Medicare, work-comp, private pay, and more
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and assist with patient mobility
