Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to residents with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and eating
- Take and record vital signs, reporting any changes to nursing staff promptly
- Assist with mobility and safe patient transfers, ensuring a secure environment
- Maintain a clean, comfortable, and organized living space for residents
- Support the emotional well-being of patients through attentive interaction and companionship
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver the highest quality of service
Qualifications
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of New Mexico
- Current CPR and BLS certification
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including some weekends
- Compassionate and patient-focused with a positive attitude
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a nice-to-have
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of resident care procedures and safety protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Sharp observation and reporting abilities
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative setting
- Adaptable and capable of managing time effectively
