Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership across neighborhoods to support the organization’s mission and values
  • Plan, organize, direct and facilitate clinical operations of the household to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Perform professional nursing assessments and evaluations for each resident
  • Coordinate resident care with nursing staff and external medical professionals
  • Guide implementation of clinical policies and procedures to ensure safe, sanitary, and efficient nursing practice
  • Oversee documentation, medication administration, and resident care to meet facility and government standards
  • Lead infection control, wound management, RAI/MDS assessment processes and other clinical accountability areas as assigned
  • Mentor and develop household clinical staff to foster person-centered, resident-directed care
  • Collaborate with physicians and other providers to maintain effective clinical relationships and continuity of care

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (Minnesota RN or eligible to obtain MN licensure)
  • Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
  • Experience with nursing assessments, medication administration, documentation and infection control
  • Familiarity with wound management and RAI/MDS assessment processes
  • Demonstrated skills in care coordination and working with interdisciplinary teams
  • Dementia sensitivity and ability to provide person-centered care for residents with cognitive impairment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and staff development abilities
  • Willingness and ability to work a contract travel assignment
