Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Support mobility and safety, including transfers and fall prevention
Monitor resident condition and report changes to nursing staff promptly
Assist with feeding, toileting, personal hygiene, and grooming with dignity
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
Participate in unit routines and contribute to a positive resident experience

Qualifications

Current GNA certification or state-equivalent certification
CPR certification (BLS) required or willing to obtain
Pass a background check and meet facility immunization/TB requirements
Comfortable working with older adults and individuals with complex needs
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; GNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) support
Ability to follow care plans and report observations accurately
Basic understanding of infection control and safety procedures
Compassionate bedside manner and respectful resident interactions
Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
