Location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire

Start Date: 04-08-2025

End Date: 07-08-2025

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM with call requirement one weekend a month and 2-3 days per week

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub complex cardiac, vascular and thoracic procedures including CABG, valves and TAVR
Assist in high-impact surgeries like EVAR, TEVAR and LVAD placements
Maintain sterile field and support seamless OR operations
Collaborate with a tight-knit team to deliver exceptional patient care
Respond promptly to calls ensuring patient safety and efficiency

Qualifications

CST/ORT certification
2+ years of OR experience
Cardiac, vascular and thoracic surgical experience required
Punctuality and 30-minute call-back availability
Flexible schedule and team-oriented mindset

Education

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Operating Room Technician (ORT) credentials

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in scrubbing cardiac and vascular cases
Experience with Meditech EMR
Familiarity with open heart equipment and Level 2 trauma procedures
Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
