Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Saturdays 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM as needed

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms with precision and care
Execute advanced imaging including magnification and spot compression views
Assist with stereotactic biopsies, pre-surgical localizations, and contrast enhanced mammography
Demonstrate complex mammographic cases confidently to radiologists
Deliver compassionate patient care in a women's imaging center
Document accurately using Cerner and Penrad systems

Qualifications

ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications required
BLS certification
2+ years of mammography experience
Screening mammogram experience with advanced views
IV certification preferred
Competence in invasive and sterile procedures

Education

Initial 40 hours of mammography training per MQSA standards
Current continuing education for mammography
Up to date on mammography volume requirements (200/2 years)
8 hours digital mammo training and 8 hours digital tomosynthesis training

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise with GE Senographe Pristina equipment
Proficiency in digital mammography and tomosynthesis
Experience working with patients who have cancer histories
Strong skills in advanced mammography imaging
