Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients on night shift
• Assess patient condition, monitor vitals, and document changes accurately
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Perform admissions, discharges, and patient education with professionalism
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations to ensure safety
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and handoffs

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in New Mexico (or RN license if applying as RN)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Travel (T-) license or ability to work as a travel clinician is a plus
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care or relevant clinical experience preferred
• Able to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• LPN: Vocational Nursing diploma or certificate
• RN candidates should hold an ADN or BSN as applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in basic nursing assessments and medication administration
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate charting
• Skilled in patient safety practices, infection control, and bedside care
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and stay calm under pressure
• Comfortable working independently overnight and escalating concerns appropriately
