Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents throughout your shift
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and document care accurately in the charting system
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and fellow nurses to build the best care plan for each patient
• Support residents with daily living activities while honoring their dignity and independence
• Communicate clearly with families and keep them informed about their loved one's progress
• Respond quickly and calmly to changes in condition and escalate concerns when needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and staff alike
• Bring positive energy to the unit and help your team finish every shift strong

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in the state of Alabama (or compact license eligibility)
• At least 1 year of nursing experience, ideally in long-term care, skilled nursing, or a similar setting
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Completed original or updated COVID-19 vaccination, or a documented religious or medical exemption from your employer
• Ability to bring a state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times
• Strong clinical judgment and a genuine heart for patient care
• Team-player attitude with excellent communication skills
• Willingness to commit to the full 9-week assignment

• Knowledge of long-term care and skilled nursing best practices
