Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled occupational therapy services that help patients rebuild independence in daily living
• Evaluate patients and design individualized treatment plans tailored to their goals
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and functional mobility training
• Collaborate with physical therapists, speech therapists, nurses, and physicians to coordinate care
• Document patient progress accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and adaptive equipment use
• Celebrate every milestone, big or small, as your patients regain confidence and function

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of California
• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in post-acute, skilled nursing, or rehab setting is a plus
• New grads with strong clinical rotations are welcome to apply
• A genuine passion for helping patients get back to doing what they love

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
• Knowledge of therapeutic exercise, ADL retraining, and adaptive equipment
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative spirit
• Solid time management and documentation skills
• Compassion, patience, and a whole lot of heart
