Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based occupational therapy to residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting
• Evaluate residents' functional abilities and craft personalized treatment plans that restore independence
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and daily living skills that change lives
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, therapists, and physicians to drive the best possible outcomes
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge plans accurately and on time
• Educate residents and their families so they feel confident and supported every step of the way
• Celebrate every milestone, from a first independent step to a full return to daily routines

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in the state of California
• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current BLS certification
• New grads and experienced therapists are both warmly welcomed
• A genuine passion for helping others regain their independence
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and treatment planning abilities
• Familiarity with documentation systems and skilled nursing regulations
• The ability to adapt treatment approaches to each resident's unique goals
• Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude that lifts the whole team
• Strong time management skills in a fast-paced rehabilitation environment
• A collaborative spirit and comfort working alongside other therapy disciplines
