Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and support to patients in a psychiatric treatment setting
• Monitor patient behavior and report changes to the interdisciplinary care team
• Assist patients with daily living activities while promoting dignity and independence
• Support therapeutic groups and treatment plan goals under the direction of licensed clinicians
• Document patient observations accurately and in a timely manner
• Help maintain a safe, calm, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) credential in the state of California
• Current BLS certification
• Prior psychiatric or behavioral health experience preferred
• Comfort working with diverse patient populations and behavioral health needs
• Strong communication and de-escalation skills
• Ability to commit to a 29-week contract with full-time availability Monday through Friday
