Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate occupational therapy services to children ages 0 to 3 in the Infant Child Development program
• Perform comprehensive assessments for little ones showing delays in daily living skills, play, neuromuscular, sensory-integrative, cognitive or psychosocial abilities
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that help each child reach meaningful milestones
• Guide families through education and consultation so progress continues at home
• Document services thoroughly and accurately to keep care coordinated and compliant
• Lead discharge and transition planning that sets children up for long term success
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to wrap each family in support

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy (required)
• Active Kansas Occupational Therapy License (required)
• Valid Kansas Driver's License (documentation needed)
• BLS certification from American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider or American Heart Association Basic Life Support, completed within the first 90 days of employment
• One year of pediatric occupational therapy experience is preferred, but we would love to hear from passionate new graduates too

Education

• Bachelors of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy [REQUIRED]
• Minimum Experience One year of experience in pediatric occupational therapy preferred [PREFERRED]
• One year of experience in pediatric occupational therapy preferred [PREFERRED]
