Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist surgical teams during operative procedures
• Prepare operating rooms with sterile equipment and supplies
• Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons during procedures
• Maintain a sterile field and monitor supplies
• Transport patients to and from the operating room
• Document surgical procedures and patient care

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent
• Current BLS certification
• Previous experience as a surgical technologist preferred
• Strong attention to detail and sterile technique

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of surgical instruments and sterile techniques
• Ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods
