Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care and preventive treatments to patients
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and at-home care
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision and care
• Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure efficient patient care
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and treatment plans
• Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment to maintain a safe environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the State of New York
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Previous experience in a dental office setting is a plus
• Strong communication skills to connect with patients
• A positive attitude and a commitment to patient comfort

Knowledge & Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures and hygiene practices
• Proficiency in taking and interpreting dental radiographs
• Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team
