Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide gentle, thorough dental cleanings for pediatric patients
• Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene habits
• Take and process dental X-rays with care and accuracy
• Assist the dentist during procedures and ensure patient comfort
• Maintain a clean, sterile clinical environment
• Document patient care accurately in the dental software

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Maryland
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience working with children or a passion for pediatric care
• Knowledge of dental practice software (Denticon is a plus)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of dental hygiene procedures
• Understanding of infection control standards
• Skill in taking dental radiographs
• Ability to educate patients of all ages
• Teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced office
