Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontist during examinations and procedures
• Prepare patients for treatment and ensure comfort
• Take and develop dental X-rays as directed
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and oral hygiene
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification required
• X-ray certification a plus
• Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred
• Ability to work a steady afternoon shift
• Compassionate and patient-focused attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Familiarity with dental software (like Denticon) is a bonus
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal communication for patient education
• Ability to assist in a fast-paced clinical environment
