Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to ensure a safe, hygienic environment
• Chairside-assist the orthodontist during adjustments, bondings, and other procedures
• Take and process dental X-rays and images as needed
• Provide clear, friendly instructions to patients and help them feel at ease
• Keep supplies stocked and treatment areas organized for smooth workflow
• Document patient care accurately in the Denticon system

Qualifications

• Must be orthodontic certified (required)
• Dental assisting experience, preferably in orthodontics
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to follow infection control and safety protocols
• Comfort using dental software (Denticon is a plus)

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and procedures
• Understanding of sterilization and OSHA standards
• Skill in taking dental X-rays and impressions
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy office
• Compassionate bedside manner with patients of all ages
• Proficiency with dental practice management software
