Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and preventive care to patients of all ages
• Perform oral health assessments and document patient charts accurately
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and follow-up care
• Assist the dentist during procedures by preparing instruments and materials
• Take and develop dental x-rays to support diagnosis and treatment planning
• Maintain a sterile, organized, and welcoming clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Current CPR certification
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a patient-first approach
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the dental team

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
• Knowledge of dental radiography and safety protocols
• Strong attention to detail in patient care and documentation
• Excellent communication skills for patient education
• Ability to adapt to different clinical settings and schedules
