Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide thorough dental cleanings and preventive care to patients of all ages
- Perform oral health assessments and document patient charts accurately
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and follow-up care
- Assist the dentist during procedures by preparing instruments and materials
- Take and develop dental x-rays to support diagnosis and treatment planning
- Maintain a sterile, organized, and welcoming clinical environment
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Pennsylvania
- Current CPR certification
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a patient-first approach
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with the dental team
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
- Knowledge of dental radiography and safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail in patient care and documentation
- Excellent communication skills for patient education
- Ability to adapt to different clinical settings and schedules
