Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields
Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
Ensure all equipment is functioning and ready for use
Monitor and maintain sterile technique throughout surgeries
Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver exceptional patient care

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
Current BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of recent surgical tech experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

Education

Associate degree in Surgical Technology or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of sterile techniques and infection control
Familiarity with surgical instruments and equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to anticipate surgeon needs during procedures
Flexibility to adapt to different surgical specialties
