Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive speech-language assessments to identify communication and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that empower patients to reach their goals
• Deliver engaging therapy sessions that are both evidence-based and compassionate
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and families to ensure continuity of care
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain compliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active and unrestricted Washington state SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is strongly preferred
• Experience in a skilled nursing, hospital, or rehabilitation setting is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for helping others

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong foundation in speech and language development, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders
• Ability to evaluate patient needs and create creative, personalized therapy plans
• Proficient in using therapy materials and technology for documentation
• Compassionate approach with the ability to connect with patients of all ages
• Team player who enjoys collaborating with interdisciplinary professionals
