Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist with chair-side procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment for each patient
• Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care to promote healthy smiles
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment environment

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent
• Current X-ray certification
• CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in orthodontics preferred
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology and instruments
• Familiarity with orthodontic procedures and materials
• Proficient in dental software and record keeping
• Strong attention to detail and infection control
