Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and prophylaxis to promote oral health
• Take and develop dental X-rays to aid in diagnosis
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Assist the dentist during exams and procedures as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure infection control protocols are followed

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia
• Certification in CPR/BLS required
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
• Ability to work a schedule including 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM shifts
• Experience in a clinical dental setting preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization, and infection control standards
• Proficiency in dental software for charting and patient management
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients
• Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
