Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric dentists during procedures, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for young patients
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms according to safety standards
• Take and process dental X-rays with care and precision
• Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene techniques in a friendly, approachable way
• Maintain accurate patient records and support the dental team in daily operations

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification or relevant training in Wisconsin
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Radiology certification or willingness to obtain
• Experience working with children in a dental or healthcare setting is a plus
• A warm, patient, and compassionate demeanor

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization protocols, and chairside assisting procedures
• Skill in taking digital X-rays safely and accurately
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to make kids feel at ease during dental visits
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
