Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans to help patients communicate effectively
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and exercises
• Document progress and adjust therapy plans as needed

Qualifications

• Active Speech Language Pathologist license in Rhode Island
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a clinical setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and therapeutic intervention skills
• Knowledge of speech and language development disorders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in documentation and electronic health records
