Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to residents in a long-term care setting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management
Qualifications
- Active New Mexico LPN license required
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
- Medication administration and documentation
- Team collaboration and effective communication
- Compassionate patient-centered care
