Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to med/surg patients
• Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and coordinate care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with patients and families
• Adapt quickly to different patient needs and unit dynamics

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Tennessee (or compact state)
• At least 1 year of med/surg experience preferred
• BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Med/surgical nursing expertise including wound care, IV therapy, and patient education
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate bedside manner and patient advocacy
