Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced ED setting
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, and interventions for acute conditions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving treatment
• Administer medications, start IVs, and assist with procedures
• Monitor and document patient responses, adjusting care plans as needed

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Illinois or compact state
• Current BLS, PALS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience preferred
• Willingness to complete Trinity health system competencies and fit testing

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in emergency nursing protocols and trauma care
• Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Proficiency with cardiac monitoring, ventilators, and emergency equipment
