Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adults on a general medicine unit
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications and treatments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
• Respond to changes in patient status and escalate as needed

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Illinois or compact state
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in general medicine or med-surg
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and every third weekend
• Willingness to complete required health screenings and competencies

• Proficiency in electronic health records
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
