Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and cardiac patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, responding to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on disease management and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut or compact state
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
• Minimum 1 year of Med Surg or Cardiac nursing experience
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Cardiac rhythm interpretation and management
• Medication administration and IV therapy
• Patient education and family support
• Telemetry monitoring and response
• Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency
