Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for patients on telemetry units
• Assess patient conditions and respond quickly to changes
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Document vital signs, rhythms, and patient responses accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the healthcare team to deliver excellent care
• Educate patients and families about cardiac health, medications, and recovery plans

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky
• At least one year of telemetry or acute care nursing experience
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• ACLS certification preferred
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, flexible environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring
• Patient assessment and early detection of clinical changes
• Medication administration and IV therapy
• Electronic health records (EHR) charting
• Emergency response and rapid intervention
• Strong teamwork and patient advocacy
