Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, family-centered care to pediatric patients
- Assess patient conditions and respond promptly to changes
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies safely
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams on care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and home care
- Document patient care accurately and maintain confidentiality
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon
- BLS certification from AHA or equivalent
- PALS certification preferred
- Pediatric nursing experience strongly preferred
- Ability to think critically and act quickly in a caring environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong pediatric assessment and clinical judgment skills
- Proficient in IV placement and medication administration
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
