Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients on the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform thorough patient assessments
• Interpret telemetry rhythms and promptly respond to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment procedures, medications, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate patient documentation while upholding confidentiality and safety standards

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification preferred
• Previous experience in Med-Surg/Telemetry nursing
• Ability to work per diem shifts including nights

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in medication administration and IV therapy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Adaptability to changing patient needs and fast-paced environments
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
