Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to ensure a safe environment.
• Assist orthodontists during procedures, passing instruments and providing support.
• Take dental impressions, X-rays, and photographs for treatment planning.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic appliance care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage scheduling efficiently.

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification from an accredited program.
• Orthodontic certification required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred).
• Experience with dental practice management software like Denticon (preferred).

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and sterilization protocols.
• Strong patient communication and chairside manner.
• Familiarity with dental X-ray and imaging systems.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
