Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to ensure a safe environment.
- Assist orthodontists during procedures, passing instruments and providing support.
- Take dental impressions, X-rays, and photographs for treatment planning.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic appliance care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage scheduling efficiently.
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification from an accredited program.
- Orthodontic certification required.
- Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred).
- Experience with dental practice management software like Denticon (preferred).
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and sterilization protocols.
- Strong patient communication and chairside manner.
- Familiarity with dental X-ray and imaging systems.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
