Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures independently, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis
• Adhere to strict MRI safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Exercise independent judgment and initiative in patient positioning, technique selection, and image evaluation
• Collaborate with the radiology team to provide excellent care to patients of all ages
• Participate in quality control and assurance activities to maintain department standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
• Current ARRT Registration
• Current MRI Registry (ARRT) certification
• CPR/BLS certification
• Venipuncture certification (or obtainable within 3 months of hire)
• Previous MRI experience in a hospital setting
• At least 2 supervisory references

Education

• Formal education from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology

Knowledge & Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of MRI techniques and safety
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Understanding of quality control in radiology
• Proficiency in radiologic technology principles
