Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment, transmitting images to a Radiologist for interpretation
• Unload portable X-Ray equipment and safely transport it into facilities to perform physician-ordered exams, ensuring clinically diagnostic and technically competent images
• Perform EKGs as needed and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation
• Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol
• Communicate regularly with dispatch and management to coordinate daily assignments
• Maintain the vehicle and X-Ray equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients at all times

Qualifications

• ARRT Certification required
• California State License in Radiologic Technology required
• Valid driver's license in the applicable state with a good driving record
• COVID-19 vaccination required; exemptions considered with proper documentation
• Ability to push/pull up to 100 lbs of equipment with use of ramps and pulleys
• Strong patient care and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in X-Ray and EKG procedures
• Experience with portable, digital, and computed radiography
• Knowledge of radiologist and cardiologist interpretation workflows
• Strong patient care and documentation skills
• Effective communication with dispatch, management, and clients
• Familiarity with billing and paperwork scanning
• Vehicle and equipment maintenance skills
