Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, identifying changes and responding promptly
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments with precision and care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on health management, medications, and recovery
• Document patient information accurately and maintain thorough medical records

Qualifications

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Previous experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of med-surg nursing principles and telemetry monitoring
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs
• Compassionate and empathetic bedside manner
• Effective collaboration with healthcare teams
