Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and assess patient status, intervening quickly when changes occur
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies safely and accurately
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to create individualized care plans
• Educate patients and their families on conditions, medications, and discharge instructions
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes with precision in the electronic health record

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Iowa or a compact state
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• Med/Surg and Telemetry experience is a plus, but we welcome new grads too
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
• A genuine passion for helping others and working as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
• Solid understanding of medical-surgical nursing practices
• Excellent patient assessment and care planning skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and families
• Strong time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
