Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to Med/Surg patients with diverse medical needs
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe and healing environment for every patient

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Louisiana (or compact license)
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg experience preferred
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to different patient assignments

Education

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in Med/Surg nursing procedures and protocols
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Time management and prioritization abilities
