Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional perioperative nursing care for trauma, neuro, and orthopedic surgeries
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures
• Prepare the operating room, equipment, and supplies for each case
• Monitor patient vital signs and response throughout surgery
• Maintain strict sterile technique and infection control standards
• Document intraoperative care with accuracy and attention to detail
• Participate in on-call rotation to support emergency surgery coverage

Qualifications

• Active Idaho RN license (or ability to obtain before start)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proven experience in trauma, neuro, and orthopedic OR settings
• Willingness to complete specialty competency testing and skills checklist
• Ability to participate in weekend and holiday on-call rotation

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile technique
• Comfortable managing complex surgical cases with confidence
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stay calm and focused in high-pressure situations
• Detail-oriented with strong clinical documentation skills
