Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery
Location: Grand Island, Nebraska
Start Date: 06-22-2026
End Date: 09-21-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, every other weekend, holidays as needed
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, expert care to laboring patients and their families
- Monitor and titrate critical medications like Pitocin and Magnesium with precision
- Support mothers through antepartum, labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
- Collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
- Educate and empower new parents on breastfeeding and newborn care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 3 years of labor and delivery experience
- Valid driver's license for radius verification
- Willingness to complete a skills exam during orientation
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in obstetrics
- Comfortable titrating drips and managing high-risk pregnancies
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Team player who thrives in a supportive LDRP environment
