Candidate Pay Rate: $105 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional care to laboring mothers and newborns during high-acuity situations
Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs with precision and expertise
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure safe deliveries
Step into stepdown units when needed to support broader patient care needs
Document thoroughly using EPIC electronic health records

Qualifications

Active Illinois nursing license
BLS certification required
AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
DCI/BVP certification
Proficiency in EPIC documentation system
Willingness to float to stepdown units as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in labor and delivery protocols
Strong fetal monitoring interpretation skills
EPIC electronic documentation proficiency
Flexibility to support stepdown patients when required
Quick adaptation to new hospital environments
