Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Triage patients efficiently and prioritize care based on acuity
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated care
• Document patient assessments, vital signs, and responses to treatment accurately
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Respond calmly and quickly to life-threatening emergencies

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky
• Emergency Department or acute care nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to remain composed and effective in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of emergency nursing protocols and best practices
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)
• Skill in patient triage and prioritization
• Ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism
• Strong interpersonal and patient education skills
