Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiologic procedures using state-of-the-art imaging equipment
• Position patients effectively and ensure their comfort and safety throughout imaging exams
• Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to produce accurate diagnostic images
• Maintain imaging equipment and report any issues to ensure consistent, reliable performance
• Document patient histories and imaging results accurately in the medical record
• Follow strict radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and yourself

Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification (R) and Missouri state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Experience in diagnostic radiology, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong patient care skills and a compassionate, professional bedside manner
• Ability to work flexible, as-needed shifts including some weekends or holidays if applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of radiographic positioning, anatomy, and imaging techniques
• Familiarity with radiology information systems (RIS) and PACS
• Understanding of radiation safety and infection control standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and departmental workflow
