Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for young patients
• Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments to maintain the highest safety standards
• Take and process dental X-rays with care and precision
• Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene practices
• Maintain accurate patient records and prepare them for the dentist's review
• Create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere that helps kids feel at ease

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent state licensure as required
• Experience working with children in a dental setting is a big plus
• Current CPR/BLS certification is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and instruments
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with children and parents
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Familiarity with dental software and record-keeping
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach
