Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare patients for exams and treatments, ensuring their comfort and safety
- Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and digital charts
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred
- Current X-ray certification required
- Experience in a dental office or clinical setting is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a patient-first mindset
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology
- Proficiency with dental practice management software
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality patient care
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with the dental team
