Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Prepare patients for exams and treatments, ensuring their comfort and safety
• Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and digital charts
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred
• Current X-ray certification required
• Experience in a dental office or clinical setting is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a patient-first mindset
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology
• Proficiency with dental practice management software
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality patient care
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with the dental team
